Biokit India was set up in coordination with US partner Carlsbad Biosystems, Inc. to service the fast growing Indian BioPharma market. The business objective of BioKit India is to:
1) provide asset recovery for established biotech and pharmaceutical companies by purchasing and removing surplus equipment and
2) provide low cost high quality equipment for small start-ups on shoe string budgets.
Removal
We can provide 1) ongoing contractual removal, decontamination, refurbishment and resale services or 2) ala cart services as needs arise and equipment needs to be decommissioned and removed. We are a full service provider and will decontaminate entire facilities and even remove office furniture and garbage if requested. All paperwork and data is carefully collected and returned to the customer or destroyed as desired.
Refurbishment
The removed equipment is typically refurbished to original operating specifications when possible. When not possible it is disassembled and used for spares and the remainder recycled.
Servicing of equipment
We can provide servicing of some types of equipment on a variety of engagements from ad-hoc service calls to maintenance contracts. This can be useful for popular lab items such as Agilent 1100 HPLC’s that are no longer serviced through the manufacturer.
